It's a spiker and is used to hold your drinks at the beach. My family is going on a big vacation in July and I plan to get a lot of use out of this!! I rarely get to make myself items, but have made a couple over the past week. I'll add a few pics of the other thing I made and a few other things I've been working on. A drink at the beach
So, one of the businesses that I do is a little company called Daisygirl Designs. I love this business and it's not something I ever thought I'd do in my life. Before kids I was an accountant. I have my MBA…. I don't use any of that anymore and I get to have fun and make things and be creative! I'm working on a few things now and It's so much fun!! I made this today...

Did he just say that??
I've always loved tiny newborn babies. I love to hold and cuddle and snuggle them. Then give them to mommy or daddy when they start crying or if they stink. But I think as a parent my most favorite thing is hearing the things my kids have to say. The way they think words are said. How they view the world. Just about anything they say - especially when they are first starting to really talk is just too cute!!
I always wanted to write it all down, but like most people I didn't have my pen and paper always by my side. But I did usually have my phone/ipad/laptop nearby and could post it to Facebook before I forgot what they said. I will periodically go back and copy them all into a word document I have for each kid, but now I don't have to forget the cute things that they say. I'm gonna share a few here… I'd love to hear some things you've saved that your kids have said too!
My current favorite thing my 5 year old says is - Hamraham Blinkin… Blinky. AKA - Abraham Lincoln. He's said this for at least two years. He gets so excited when he sees him. Has the lego figure. And loved learning about him this year in Kindergarten.
"Gleaking" - according to my 5 year old this is what happens when you have a scraped ankle and there is stuff "gleaking" out of the bandaid onto his sock…
Mohog = Mohawk (it's also been called a groundhog)
Here's an oldie from my 7 year old…
9/14/11 -
David,"Jax, what is this sticky stuff on the iPad?"
Jax: I did it,
David: What is it?
Jax: It's boogers
Kids are gross. And I will share more randomly. Believe me… I have lots and lots of awesome things my kids have said! Now…comment with yours! :)
